I’m Starting a Blog. Here’s Why.

I’ve been wanting to do this for a long time. Writing has always been something that I’ve enjoyed, whether it’s English papers or executive summaries, I’ve always loved the idea of painting a picture with words. In particular, what I love most is writing about sports. Whether it’s football, basketball, baseball or hockey, I watch avidly and have plenty of opinions to share.

What to Expect

With SideHustle Sports, you’ll get in-depth analysis on all four major sports with a focus on the New England teams. I went with the name SideHustle because this will essentially be my side hustle as I work as a banker. I’ll be discussing a lot of out-of-the-box ideas and takes that will certainly make you think. Topics will include trade ideas/rumors, draft grades, off-season prediction, and much, much more. My goal is to provide readers a unique perspective, and a look inside my sports-crazed brain. There will be hot takes, ludicrous ideas, and wild predictions that will make you reconsider the way you watch sports.

The goal is to post every day or so, and then a weekend review on Sunday nights. The weekend review will consist of game recaps as well as betting advice for the upcoming week coined “SideHustle’s Pick”. A podcast is certainly coming soon, but my time is limited with a full-time job, so that likely won’t get off the ground until the summer. In the meantime, I hope you all enjoy my takes, and feel free to comment on any posts or send me an email with any post requests or ideas and I’ll be sure to get back to you.
